BEE.IN.HARMONY
"Bee integrates [somatic] concepts seamlessly into her sessions. I had a lot of fun while jamming on the guitar and learning new skills. Her exercises are also creative which make them more engaging and easier to grasp. I would recommend Bee to anyone looking for support in their neurodivergent journey!" - Rachel Strathdee's Testimonial
WHAT IS BEE.IN.HARMONY?
Bee.In.Harmony is a neurodivergent-affirming program where we help clients explore a wide range of somatic activities which also encourage personal skill development

WHY DO CLIENTS WANT TO WORK WITH US?
Clients come to us for neurodivergent-affirming sessions where we engage in a somatic activity of the client's choice, learning the skill at the pace of our neurodivergent clients and reframing the practice in ways that actually click with people who are neurodivergent.
Because of the nature of these activities, it also becomes possible for neurodivergent adults to explore - perhaps for the first time in their lives - concepts like sensory engagement and disengagement techniques, boundary-setting and respecting, understanding all types of consent, emotion regulation techniques, and interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. As a neurodivergent educator who has worked through childhood trauma, betrayal trauma, and neurodivergent trauma, Bee is able to share her tools with clients who may be struggling with these personal skills.
We also encourage you to bring an emotionally safe loved one (ie. a friend or family member) to your session to practice the somatic activity with you, so not only will get you get to practice these skills in real-time with someone from your life, you'll BOTH learn a new activity in a neurodivergent-friendly environment!
WHO IS INVOLVED IN BEE.IN.HARMONY?
Right now, BeeC omposed, aka Bee Sayers, is our Neurodivergent Specialist in action.
Because of the Neurodivergent Specialists and clients Bee.In.Harmony chooses to work with, we are also an LGBTQ+ positive space, meaning that we have a compassionate regard for safety-coding practices and do what we can to respect discretion as desired by our clients.
WHAT SOMATIC ACTIVITIES DO YOU OFFER?
The following activities give clients the opportunity to engage their vagus nerve and the option to address any neurodivergent trauma they may have experienced throughout their life, which also gives clients the opportunity to rewrite the story of their lives in a way that is healing and therapeutic and develop healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for their future.

WHERE ARE SESSIONS HELD?
Most of our somatic activities are available virtually - in most time zones! - as well as in-person in London, Ontario, Canada. For in-person sessions, many activities can be held in the Bee.In.Harmony studio or in-home of the client or their team support member. If particular equipment is needed, sessions may also be held at the Pa-Kua Canada studio and other facilities such as the Aquatic Centre.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?
To review your goals, desired outcomes, and go over questions and policies, we will schedule a free 15 - 30 minute interview with you to see if we'll be a good fit for each other.
Please submit our CLIENT INTAKE FORM (a google document) to see more about the kind of work we can help you with.
Please note it is an extensive form (5 - 20 minutes) and we know it can feel both validating and overwhelming. If you don't know all the terms or are unsure of what does and doesn't apply to you, don't worry! That means the form is working to give both you and us an idea of where you're at in your neurodivergent journey. Just fill in the answers as best as you can, and rest assured we will go over all of them in the preliminary interview.
I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE WORK YOU'RE DOING!!

"Bee.In.Harmony was a very personal approach for me; she first spent time listening to my complete story of myself as a client such as strengths and areas of need. She then provided suggestions that helped me decide how to move in the world more as my authentic self.
Every step of the way, Bee was able to adjust sessions based on my needs, and was more than willing to make necessary adaptations based on my feedback. One of my goals was to develop self-advocation, and by listening to my areas of concern and then adjusting, she helped me develop tools and confidence in advocating for myself in a way that has allowed me to live more authentically.
Bee also integrates concepts of music seamlessly into her sessions. I had a lot of fun while jamming on the guitar and learning new skills. Her exercises are also creative which make them more engaging and easier to grasp.
I would recommend Bee to anyone looking for support in their neurodivergent journey!"
